Case study: a bot for Fitmost Ultra

The task was to create a private bot for the paid community of a large booking service for fitness, beauty and spa services. The bot was built for an open house day at partner studios.

Requirements:

  1. Users should be able to choose a city where events are available

  2. In each city, they choose a convenient studio (from a list of studios with class descriptions and the event date and time)

  3. Each event had a limited number of spots, so once the limit was reached, chatbot users were offered a different venue.

  4. Users who signed up for an event can also cancel their booking (to free up the spot for someone else)

  5. All users go through a check that they have a subscription in the official app (by cross-checking data in a spreadsheet)

  6. Before the event, users get a reminder about their booking, where they either confirm or cancel it.

Taking all the requirements into account, we built a bot with the structure below

Bots make life much easier for both your business and your potential customers: when there's no need to go to third-party websites and services and everything happens inside Telegram, it's much more convenient for everyone. It also builds a database of potential customers at the same time.

One-off bots are great for:

  • webinar sign-ups

  • offline event sign-ups

  • seasonal content, such as advent calendars

  • giveaways and promotions

  • collaborations and partnerships

Conclusion

Bots aren't always built for long-term use. Sometimes they're needed for a specific event or a one-time course.
