A new MyHeritage genealogy network tool called LiveStory offers to add voice to photos. Users can upload a photo and use machine learning algorithms to turn it into a short animated video. MyHeritage has teamed up with the Israeli D-ID project, and users of the resource are able to create a talking portrait of a relative telling their life story.

OpenAI showed off its latest development. DALL-E 2 is capable of creating photorealistic images as well as editing finished images by changing their composition, shadows and texture, all based on textual descriptions.
